Measure V

Measure V is Merced County's 30-year 1/2 cent transportation sales tax that was passed by voters in November 2016. The sales tax, which went into effect April 1, 2017, was projected to generate an estimated $15 million annually and $450 million over the life of the measure. MCAG is responsible for overall program compliance which includes staffing the COC and the east and west side Regional Project Committees, as well as quarterly reporting, annual audits, and public education.
