Notice is hereby given that Merced County Association of Governments (MCAG) has released project number IFB20190823MCAG – Construction of Front Office Security Upgrades. MCAG invites the submission of bids from qualified Contractors to construct front office security upgrades located at 369 West 18th Street Merced, CA. The Public Notice and Invitation for Bids (IFB) document can be found under "Related Documents" below.

Bidders may download PDF copies of Plans and Specifications via the Dropbox link located on page 6 of the IFB document.

For prospective bidders, there will be a pre-bid meeting to provide an opportunity to visit the job site prior to the IFB deadline. The pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 369 West 18th Street, Merced, CA on September 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Bidders interested in attending must RSVP via email to by August 30, 2019.

Prevailing Wage will be required to perform this work. Prevailing wage rates may be obtained at the following website: https://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/dprewagedetermination.htm

Bidders are responsible for making certain their bid documentation is complete and is received by MCAG on or before the closing deadline. MCAG is not liable for any costs incurred by bidders in responding to this IFB. MCAG reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the IFB. Any alterations to the IFB will be made by written addenda only.

Communications from Bidders shall be submitted in writing to Alicia Ochoa-Jones, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other MCAG employees or consultants with respect to the bid documents or project.
