Notice is hereby given that the Merced County Association of Governments (MCAG) has released project number RFP20200619MCAG – MCAG Internet Service Provider. MCAG is seeking proposals from qualified service providers with experience and expertise in providing uninterrupted internet services for the MCAG administration office located at 369 W. 18th Street, Merced, CA 95340.

A group site tour will not be hosted; however, individual site visits are available and will be held by appointment only.  Proposers shall request and schedule site visits via email no later than 12:00 p.m. June 24, 2020 by emailing Alicia Ochoa- Jones at .

Site visits by appointment will be held on June 25, 2020 between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

The deadline to ask questions is 12:00 p.m., June 29, 2020. Proposals are due electronically by 12:00 p.m. on July 8, 2020 and shall be emailed to Alicia Ochoa-Jones, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, at .

Proposers are responsible for making certain their proposal documentation is complete and is received by MCAG on or before the closing deadline. MCAG is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in responding to the RFP. MCAG reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion.  Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Any alterations to the RFP will be made by written addenda only. 

In compliance with Title 49 CFR Part 26, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise’s (DBE) are encouraged to submit a Proposal and will be afforded full opportunity to participate in this solicitation.  Note that the resulting contract from this solicitation has no specific DBE goal or requirement, therefore prospective proposers will not be required to submit good faith efforts.   

Communications from proposers shall be submitted in writing (email) to Alicia Ochoa-Jones, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, for this procurement.  Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other MCAG employees or consultants with respect to the proposal documents or project.
